Hiiee! Finally, I had time to update the class blog.
Yeah. so Friday, first thing in the morning was Math. Algebraic expressions. Pretty easy, most of the stuff was what we learnt last year.
After that, Ms James came in, so then we read a passage about sharks in our book. Then she showed us a really sad and tragic video {well, i think it's tragic}. It was about how fishermen "killed" sharks mainly for the sake of shark's fin, since it is tasty and expensive. The fishermen will do anything to get those fins. Firstly, they cut off all the fins while the sharks are still moving and breathing {eeeeew} then cut of the tail.
... ... ... ... ...
And threw the poor fin-less-and-tail-less shark back into the ocean... Letting it sink to the bottom... and wait for it's death...
Aww... The video is also not about how the fishermen kill sharks, it also let us know that they also kill turtles... and poke its eyes.... Ugh... Horrible... Well it did show some scenes of the whale shark, the cut it into pieces first before hauling everything up. {mainly, the body parts} and an interview of some guy called Vic whatever who thinks that he is saving the human race by killing sharks, which is so not true. Save the human race... Tsk
After all those bloody scenes, we continued to do paper work, questions about the passage that we read, to test how much we know about the passage.

And the day ended with Science lesson. Mrs Lim and her surprises {which is homework} made us all really happy {as if} because she is showing how much she loves us {omg... ugh}
